My favourite teacher

My favourite teacher's name is Ms Hayati. She was my english teacher in primary six. She was also my form teacher. On the first day of school of primary six life, i was actually very scared of her. It was because she looked very fierce and firm. I was silently praying that she would not be a tigress but a sweet teacher who would show us heaven in the coming months. When we went to our new classrooms, she introduced herself to us. I remember her, calling herself a tigress. From then on, i became very scared of her. In fact, i was terrified by her. I dreaded english lessons as i never wanted to see her. However, in the few weeks that passed with lightning speed, i came to know of the true side of Ms Hayati. She is actually a very kind, sweet and pleasant teacher. She was very talented and knowledgeable. She treated us as if we were her own children. I never once hesitated to talk to her about my own problems and stress-building issues. In fact, i often messaged her through my phone, and i felt like she was my close friend. She really inspired me to do well in my studies. Every single time when i received an A for my english examinations, she was the only person who encouraged me and even gave me rewards. She once bought me movie tickets and she even bought me a pencil case which i am still using. In fact, i never believed that i could achieve more than an A for my examinations. But Ms Hayati was the only person who put hope in me and encouraged me to do better. She was the only person who believed in me. After much practice from her, i sat for my PSLE. The results announcing day soon came. When i received my results slip, the first person that i ran to was her. I proudly showed her that i had gotten an A* for english. I was brimming with joy and very grateful to her. She was the sole reason why i excelled in english. She is my most favourite and inspiring teacher.
